Regulation

The National Association Of Property Buyers (NAPB) was formed in 2013 after an investigation by the Office of Fair Trading identified a number of unscrupulous practices amongst some house-buying companies.

Unfortunately though, many of these practices still exist among companies today, and there's little enforcement to stop them.

We believe the "quick home sale" industry needs to be more closely regulated. For example, we believe that sellers should be awarded compensation where companies reduce their offer, and that sellers should never be tied in with contracts such as Option Agreements or Purchase Agreements.
